Anne Reardon has an excellent series on her channel, How to Cook That, where she debunks a lot of commonly shared “food hacks”.

Her latest video involves her uncovering a “fake” cooking YouTube channel network, and the methods of her investigation are similar to how I look into fake news websites:

• Reverse image searches
• Searching specific phrases within a webpage
• Looking up addresses made available on a page’s “Contact Us” space
