Today, 21 July 2017 is Marshall McLuhan’s 106th birthday, as the Google doodle reminded me.

Full disclosure: It would be a bit disingenuous of me to write anything about McLuhan, other than “the medium is the message” and his influence on Neil Postman, as I’ve not read him directly at this point, so I will use this space to remind everyone he made a cameo in Annie Hall.
